KUWENTO NI JUAN
Being right is not a rule in war. Might is the only rule in war
By Mang Juan Pinoy

A confrontation of one who is right and one who has might
A day after China dispatched its biggest civilian patrol boat to the disputed Spratlys, the Philippines deployed its biggest warship, the Rajah Humabon, to what it described as territorial waters in the West Philippine Sea.
Although it is the biggest, BRP Humabon is also the oldest warship of the Philippine Navy.

Reed Bank is located 80 miles off Palawan and 576 miles from China. So 576 miles is obviously greater than the 200 miles of exclusive economic zone provided under United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
Why should there be a dispute if we are in compliance to international law?
Our enemy is not just China bully alone
China’s recent territorial bullying on Spratlys is the price our country has to pay for having wealth and resources of government wrecked by perpetual corruption. And I am sure these brilliant corrupt trapo familes knows who they are and what they did and are still doing.
Our country is facing threat of territorial aggression.
Our military is unprepared to defend our sovereignty in the disputed territories.
Obviously, our government with depleted funds cannot afford an head-on conflict with China.
Thanks to our modernized corruption.
And vintage greed.
